New mixtures to create
Blood, pus, and marrow
Strewn across the gallery
Bits of body parts and human refuse
Every rotten piece which I can find a use

Again my artistic grandeur brings upon the sublime
Witness this beautiful visage
The portrait of decay

Bones and flesh are ground together
Adding in the tears of the weak
Saturated hues and pigments
From my unholy technique
Recreating this wonderful vision
Feeling of eternal warmth
Perfect the palette
I am reborn
Awake in a womb of rot
Have I been here forever
Is this the realm I have longed
Yet now does the vision fade
Minutes passing as seconds
Where’s the feeling I crave

Blurs contorting in front of me
No longer compulsion could fade away
Short lived twisting back to reality
Again I prepare my palette
My fundamentals not adequate
Surely my humors suffice
A final mixture of pigments precise
As the hair mark the canvas
Fevered and delirious I strike
Life pools on the floor at my feet
My masterpiece it beckons the knife
The vision no longer fades
As my body goes gray
I find myself drifting away
Into this portrait of decay

Is this what I longed for
Decay
Rot but not fade away
Eternal
Solace and ecstasy
My life on the
Floor right in front of me
This canvas of flesh
